Kesher Kasher — the service that delivers WhatsApp to your email inbox — was designed from day one
for an audience that browses through filtered internet and uses kosher email inboxes. Not "adapted
after the fact" and not "should work": every technical decision, from the structure of the emails to
the connection method, was chosen so that the service functions even on the strictest profiles of
Netfree, Rimon, Etrog, Nativ and the other filters.

Why it works filtered — no promises, just facts
Internet filters usually block three things: scripts, content loaded from external servers, and images.
Kesher Kasher simply doesn't depend on any of them:
1Simple emails, no scripts
The conversation pages that reach your inbox are built as simple table-based HTML — like an ordinary email from twenty years ago. No JavaScript, no running code, no tracking. What you see is what there is.
2No external loading
Images attached to messages are embedded inside the email itself — not loaded from an external server. Our site also loads nothing from external sources: even the fonts are hosted by us.
3Text-only mode
For anyone on a profile that allows text only: you can set the emails to arrive with no images and no files at all — only the message content, including Hebrew transcription of voice notes.
4Connection without a single image
Instead of scanning a QR code — which gets blocked on image-blocking profiles — you connect with an 8-character pairing code typed into the phone. An official WhatsApp mechanism, all text.

"Compatible by design" means we built the service to work well in filtered environments — not that anyone signed off on it. Filter names are mentioned on this page for identification purposes only.
How Kesher Kasher behaves on each filter
What we know about each filter, and what it means in practice for Kesher Kasher users:
Netfree NetFree
A provider-level filter operating on a "whitelist" basis: sites open only after review, images are checked by a human team and texts are scanned algorithmically. It has a request system for opening sites.
WITH KESHER KASHER
Compatible by design. The emails pass as they are — simple HTML with no scripts and no external loading. A site-approval request for kesher-kasher.co.il will be submitted through Netfree's request system at launch. On image-blocking profiles: text-only mode + pairing-code connection instead of QR — the entire flow passes without a single image.
Internet Rimon Rimon
A veteran filtered internet provider (operating since 2007) with several protection levels: automatic systems scan the texts and images on every page in real time and decide according to the chosen protection level. Opening sites — via customer service.
WITH KESHER KASHER
Compatible by design. The email content is your own ordinary conversations, without components that trigger automatic blocks. If the site itself is blocked at your protection level — you can ask Rimon's customer service to open it, and we will gladly assist with the process.
Etrog Etrog
The Haredi division of Internet Rimon, with stricter tracks managed by Haredi professionals, combining technological filtering with human oversight, in accordance with the guidance of the Haredi community's rabbis.

Compatible by design, including the strictest tracks. On tracks that block images you enable text-only mode — messages arrive as clean text with voice-note transcription — and connect with a pairing code. All day-to-day use happens inside the email inbox, with no browsing needed.
Nativ Nativ
A filter operating since 2005 in affiliation with the Rabbinical Committee for Communications, using a strict whitelist approach — the default is blocked, and only what has been approved opens.

After a one-time connection (which can be done from any filtered computer where the site opens), everything runs inside the email inbox — receiving messages and replying — with no need to browse any websites. Opening the site for registration is done through Nativ's approval mechanism.

Filtered and kosher email inboxes
A large part of the community uses filtered email inboxes — "email only" packages from the filtering
providers, kosher email services, and inboxes that strip links or images. Kesher Kasher's conversation
pages were built exactly for this environment:
- A plain-text version is attached to every email. Even if your inbox shows text only or strips formatting — the message content remains fully readable.
- No link needs to be clicked in order to read. The entire message content is in the body of the email itself. An inbox that strips or blocks links does not affect reading — and replying is done simply by hitting "Reply" to the email.
- Attachments — your choice. In the settings you can decide whether to attach images and documents, receive transcription only, or turn everything off and switch to clean text.
- A fixed, identifiable sender. All emails come from a fixed service address — easy to whitelist in a filtered inbox.
Frequently asked questions about filters
Does Kesher Kasher work with Netfree?
Yes. The service was designed in advance for a Netfree environment: the emails are built as simple table-based HTML, with no scripts and no content loaded from external servers, and the site itself loads nothing from external sources. To be fully honest: we have no official approval from Netfree — a site-approval request will be submitted through Netfree's request system at launch. On strict profiles that block images you can work in text-only mode and connect with a pairing code instead of QR.
The filter blocks the QR code — what do I do?
You don't need QR at all. Kesher Kasher offers connection via a pairing code — an 8-character code you type into WhatsApp on the phone (via "Linked Devices"). This is an official WhatsApp mechanism, and it works even when the filter blocks image display — because it contains no image.
I'm on a text-only profile — can I use the service?
Yes. The account settings include a text-only mode: emails arrive with no images and no attachments — only the message content as text, including Hebrew transcription of voice notes. The initial connection is also made with a textual pairing code, so the entire flow passes without a single image.
The site won't open through my filter — what do I do?
You can request that kesher-kasher.co.il be opened through your filter's site-request mechanism (with Netfree — the request system; with Rimon and Etrog — customer service). In parallel, write to us at info@kesher-kasher.co.il and we will also submit a request to the filter. Note: even without site access, receiving messages and replying to them keeps working — everything happens inside your email inbox.
The emails arrive without images — is that normal?
Yes, this is expected on strict profiles that block images. The content remains fully readable: message text, sender names, group names and voice-note transcriptions arrive as usual. If you prefer emails to arrive without images in the first place — enable text-only mode in the settings.
I have no open browsing, only an email inbox — is that enough?
Yes. For day-to-day use an active email inbox is enough — all messages arrive there and every reply is sent from there, with no need to browse any website. Site access is needed only once, for registration and the initial connection, and it can be done from any filtered computer where the site is open.
